Do I need to separate my green waste?
No, there is no need to separate your green waste if you are bringing it to our recycling centre in Cheshire. Simply arrange your drop off and we will do the rest!

Green Waste NW sells wholesale peat-free compost at our recycling centre in Knutsford, we also offer local delivery.
How much is wholesale compost and mulch?
The cost of your compost and mulch is dependant on the size of the order. Please contact our team to discuss a cost-effective solution to encourage plant growth and soil health.
Where can I take mixed green waste in Cheshire?
Bring it to us! There is no need to separate your green waste, we will process it all for you. If you can’t bring it to us, as about our mobile recycling service in Cheshire. Mixed waste, with root balls, is all accepted here.
What is Green Waste?
Green waste is anything from grass cuttings, pruning, timber, leaves, tree stumps and wood chip. We are also happy to accept root balls.
What is the recycling centre open hours?
The recycling centre in Cheshire is open from 7.30am until 5.30pm Monday – Friday. However, we try to be flexible where possible so if you would like to arrange a weekend visit please get in touch.
Is the compost screened?
We screen to 20mm which makes it perfect for planting compost as it gives a slow-release feed or as a mulch.
Do you offer any discounts?
Yes, we offer discounts to our customers who bring regular drop-offs of their commercial green waste.
